Parish & Finance Councils

The Toto Parish Council and the Parish Finance Council meet regularly to discuss parish events and financial matters. Both groups serve as a consultative body to the pastor. There are no election processes, but simply a baptismal call to serve God and his people in this capacity. All members and interested parishioners are encouraged to attend council meetings. Meetings are announced in advance in the Parish Newsletter.

Christian Mothers

The Toto parish Christian Mothers are part of the island-wide organization of Christian Mothers. Members of the Christian Mothers, whose patroness is Our Lady of Sorrows, help plan and support parish activities to enhance religious life within the family and community. (HISTORY)

Faith Formation (CCD)

Faith Formation classes are held during the school year for children in kindergarten through high school. Children must have two years of religious instruction before they receive their First Holy Communion. Two years of CCD instruction are also required before high school students can receive Confirmation. (CATHECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH)
